Glacier National Park Lodges

The lodges in Glacier National Park were built to offer lodging to travelers visiting the area.  These historic buildings offer traditional style accommodation and are often booked up very quickly by visitors wanting an historic experience shared by generations of tourists.

The Historic Tamarack Lodge, originally located at the entrance to the Park, provided a warm welcome to people alighting from the train in Belton and retains the classic ambiance of a traditional Glacier National Park vacation.

Relocated in the 1940′s, the lodge continues to provide a taste of Park history for travelers to the area.  Away from the crowds, it offers modern amenities such as flat screen tv, wifi and attention to detail such as ipod docks and air conditioning whilst at the same time providing the ambiance of its original stone fireplace and lodgepole pine beams.

The lodge offers four rooms on the upper level, each with attached bath and beautifully appointed with wood floors, handcrafted furniture and glacier national park themed décor.

Lodge rooms sleep up to five guests, with the option of combining two rooms  (to sleep up to 9) via a private balcony with sunset views over the Columbia and Teakettle peaks.

All our lodge guests have 24 hour access to the lodge great room with its over-stuffed furniture and working fireplace and private parking located to the rear of the property.

Book your 2014 stay today to get your taste of Glacier and a unique Glacier National Park lodge experience.
