The Trapline

Named in honor of the locally historic reference of “running the trap line” or the practice of frequenting the numerous bars that sprung up during the boom town Hungry Horse dam building days of the 1950’s, the café features many of the hearty meals favored by the locals of the day with plenty of variety that will surely please anyone. From breakfast, which is served all day, to dinner and dessert, patrons have come to love the extra care and attention we give to preparing each meal. The dining room offers a variety of seating options from the traditional café counter to accommodations for larger groups. For the more technically inclined, the café provides high-speed WIFI. And, for those desiring to enjoy our meals at home or on the go, take-out is available for the entire menu. During the off-season, the café is available during the week and late afternoons on weekends for birthday parties, baby showers, anniversaries, meetings, gatherings or etc.

Summer hours are 7:00 am to 7:00 pm daily.

Winter hours are Wednesday to Sunday 7:30 am to 2:00 pm.
