Explore the beauty of Glacier National Park in Winter with a park ranger on a two-hour snowshoe walk available every weekend, Saturday and Sunday through the Winter months (December 1st through March 17th). Discover how the flora and fauna find ways to survive the snow season, experience the stillness and silence of the trail and enjoy the solitude of Winter at its finest.
As always, be prepared! Wear appropriate clothing, dress in layers, and bring water and snacks.
Participants may use their own snowshoes or rent snowshoes for a nominal fee at the Apgar Visitor Center.
Snowshoe rentals are also available for hire from the front desk at the lodge.
