The Conrad Mansion Museum, Kalispell

November 2nd, 2011 by HTL

Open May-October for our summer guests to experience a taste of local history, The Conrad Mansion is also open through November and December for Christmas tours.

Built in 1895, just a few years before the lodge, the Conrad Mansion has been beautifully preserved to show you what life was like for its occupants.  Charles E. Conrad was a prominent and respected local figure.  Instrumental in the founding of Kalispell, he helped shape the area as we know it today, building his family home in what was then simply wilderness.

A great opportunity for our Winter guests wanting to take a break from snowsports, the Mansion offers a welcome escape from seasonal shopping mayhem and guarantees a taste of Christmas past.

Original handmade items are available in the Gift Shop for that unique stocking filler and Winter items belonging to the family are on display throughout the holiday season.

Take the kids to visit Santa, or take a ‘Tea and Tour’ and lap up the warmth and celebration of the holiday season in the heart of the Montana Rockies.
