Glacier National Park Cabins

December 28th, 2012 by teresa

While our summer guests are away, we get busy! Every year we make improvements to our facility thanks to feedback received to ensure we can provide the best quality of stay for our guests. This year the Bison gets a brand new bathroom with dressing area, handcrafted cabinets and plenty of space to relax and wash away the day. Will you be the first to try it out?!

Looking for a cozy base for your Glacier National Park family vacation with all the comforts of home?  Look no further!  We have 8 family sized cabins, each sleeping up to six, each with full kitchens and all set in the outstanding beauty of the Glacier area.

Our Summit, Glacier, Grinnell, Alpine, Iceberg and Avalanche cabin were built in 2007 with our guests in mind.  Two bedrooms each house a queen bed.  The living area sleeps another two on a comfortable futon couch and leads out to your private covered balcony overlooking Columbia and Teakettle Mountains.  Cozy up to our llama, Star and enjoy the recreational space close to your cabin with seating and charcoal grills located for your enjoyment of our great outdoors.

Ask at the lodge for our fishing equipment and take a stroll to the Beaver Ponds behind your cabin.  Keep your eye out for the beaver family as you fish in this tranquil environment.

Parking is available right outside your cabin entrance.  Daily housekeeping, free wifi and satellite tv add to your comfort and convenience.

Located only 8 miles from the West Entrance to Glacier National Park, with great rates and outstanding hospitality, we’re pretty sure you’ll take advantage of our multi-night deal and grab a 5% discount for stay of three nights or more.

The Antelope and Bison cabins are also included in our multi-night deal.  Newly refurbished with full size kitchens, these cabins can also be connected to provide sleeping for up to 12.  The Bison cabin has a fenced, private yard, making these two cabins a great choice for larger families, reunions, or groups travelling together.

Make 2013 your best year yet with a Glacier National Park vacation that will provide you with wonderful memories for many years to come.

We look forward to welcoming you to your home away from home!

Entertainment at the Historic Tamarack Lodge

August 3rd, 2010 by HTL

At the Historic Tamarack Lodge and Cabins, one of our favorite things is when we get to sit around a campfire and get to know our guests.   Watching the sun set between the mountains and seeing the stars slowly  in big Montana Sky is entertainment enough but the evening is perfected when we are fortunate enough to be serenaded cowboy-style.

We are delighted to be able to welcome singer/songwriter Brad Lee as he joins us and our guests around the campfire every Friday night at 8:30pm.

Brad was nominated twice for Grammy awards in his earlier career.  His cd’s are on sale in the Lodge gift shop and will be available on the nights he sings.

Reserve your space around the fire early and enjoy the melody of Brad’s guitar as you toast your smores and make your vacation even more memorable!
