IMG_6452Located 8 miles from the West Entrance to Glacier National Park, the Historic Tamarack Lodge and Cabins offers traditional mountain lodge accommodation and 22 private cabins.  Four rooms with attached bath are located on the upper level of the lodge.  Sympathetically refurbished in 2013 to include exposed original beams and lofted ceilings, these Glacier National Park themed rooms also have attention to detail such as wood floors, ceiling fans and flat screen tv’s for your comfort.  Lodge Room guests enjoy 24 hour access to the lodge Great Room for relaxation in front of the original stone fireplace.

A continental breakfast is served to all guests on the lower level of the lodge where there is also located an espresso bar, gift shop and restaurant area.  All guests have access to enjoy the Great Room with its library and selection of local maps during lodge opening hours.

On site amenities include daily housekeeping service, an abundance of grassy picnic areas with firepits, seating and games, an outdoor pavilion for all-weather entertaining and a selection of rental items such as mountain bikes and fishing equipment.

Nestled on the outskirts of the Flathead National Forest with views over Teakettle and Columbia Mountains, we pride ourselves on our hospitality and have received the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence in 2012 and 2013.
